Flamingo Beach itself is a close-knit resort town of about 32,000 with surprisingly few tourists, so students can take advantage of an authentic, personalized experience with the language and culture of the country. Rest assured you will be truly immersed in the local customs and way of life.
Although Playa Flamingo is a small town, it's impossible to get bored here, with a plethora of nearby beaches to explore and exciting activities like water sports, scuba diving, canopy tours, horseback riding, boat safaris, hiking in the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, and observation of night turtle nesting. If you're interested in learning Spanish with white sand beaches and an eco-wonderland at your doorstep, Flamingo Beach is the place for you.
