Gozo is located parallel to the North African coast and has stable weather conditions. The island has a Mediterranean weather, like all places with this feature, Gozo usually experiences dry and hot summers and wet and warm winters. Because of this climate certain months could be uncomfortable but generally it can be visited and enjoy all the year.

The hottest, and driest, months are July and August, during these months the daytime high temperatures can hover around 36ºC (97ºF) and nighttime temperatures of 21 (70ºF). During November and December the daytime temperatures are between of 12 ºC (54ºC) and 18 ºC (64ºF) and a fair amount of sunshine between showers. January and February are the coldest months of the year, but the conditions are also pleasant during this time; the daily temperature can reach 10ºC (50ºF) to 16 ºC (60ºF) and nighttime temperatures between 5ºC (40ºF) and 10ºC (50ºF).
