Tate Liverpool

Lady Lever Art Gallery

Lady Lever Art Gallery is located just across the Mersey in Port Sunlight. It was founded in 1922 by William Hesketh Lever, the first Lord Leverhulme in memory of his wife. The gallery holds one of the most beautiful collections of fine and decorative arts in the country and among the treasures on show are British 18th and 19th century painting and furniture, and Wedgwood and Chinese porcelain displays.
National Conservation Centre
