Accommodation in Cambridge
Homestay
The School will be happy to arrange accommodations for our students with families that are carefully inspected and selected by our Accommodation Officer. During the period September-June, we offer single rooms with breakfast and dinner daily.
The location of our host families are within 3-4km from the school and may best be reached by public bus or by bicycle. The school makes every effort to match student’s needs to find the perfect family but cannot guarantee that all requests can be met. Non doubt living with a family is an excellent way of learning about British life and customs.
In the summer, adults live in single rooms with breakfast and dinner daily but juniors (14-16 years) live in twin rooms with a student of the same sex but different nationality. In this way they make new friends and practise their English at the same time.
Residential
The school owns four Halls of Residence, all within easy walking distance of its school in Station Road, offering a safe and quiet environment. Only about 12-14 students are taken in each Hall with a family atmosphere. During the summer these Halls are occupied by junior students around 14-16 years, with twin rooms and a few single rooms.
Some rooms have their own shower and each Hall has a computer with Internet access. Also a warden lives in the residence and who is responsible for the student’s security during their stay as well as he does the cooking and cleaning. The students have breakfast and dinner daily (and only in summer, a packed lunch for juniors).
